Ok, I just bought a SW-5 from a buddy, and it has the fixed stock. I really would like to put a retractable stock on it....but kinda got sticker shock when I started surfing the web. Am I really going to have to pay $350 to $450 for one???

If so, I guess I'd be better off going with the Choate side folders like a lot of the PDW's have.

Anybody know of a place that has retractable stocks for less than $350??

Not for factory German. I would go with your idea of the side folder. Cheaper abd it still looks nice.

The retractable stocks look great, but they suck for real use. The rails are uncomfortable on your face and you can't really shoot the gun with the stock retracted because the buttstock hits you right in the wrist. Go with the side folder and you'll be much happier.

B&T side folders are awesome, they are way better than the retractable stock.

The "F" retractable stock is actually pretty comfortable to shoot.

If you must have the A3 stock and want to have a decent cheek weld you might want to try one of these.
