I've heard positive and negative comments about the reliability of the Vector 72 round drum magazines. It appears that Vector has been very responsive to issues that have come up yet there have been some difficulties. Anyone here have first hand experience that they'd like to share?
Neither of the drums I got from Vector worked particularly well, and since I have a C&S drum that seems to digest anything I put in it, I decided to return them and deploy the money elsewhere.
However, Vector customer service was, as usual, outstanding. Rex sent the second drum on spec when I reported the problem with the first. They made a follow-up call via Debbie to check to see how it was going. I'm sure if I had decided to keep one or both of the drums they'd have gotten the situation squared away.

It's painful to see a AC-556 without a folding stock!

Fine. Here it is with a folder. Now, don't whine about it not being factory. Its all I got. :)

hey you got more than I got! I've held that stock before on a mini 14, it's decent.
I really wanna get a preban mini 14 stainless factory folder like the A-Team had.

Paul are all you mags ruger?I priced them @ harrisburg gun show price from $10. to $175 for drum!I think I will wait to learn more before buying mags.I got the wood stock only because of cost, 890$ more for 13" barrel and folding stock.found ruger folder for 350$ but I like the choate wood folder $150 and butler creek folder ?wood feels better but for looks folder wins!
back to uzi drum I guess I will wait till it gets here seems to take 1 1/2 weeks for vector stuff to arrive.
hope my next 3 form 4 's get here faster than my 1st one {112 days from mailed form to in my hand uzi.}sorry long and off subject.

112 days is pretty good. You'll be hard pressed to do any better than that. And it doesn't seem to matter that you've recently done other form 4's

All my mags are Ruger. They have been parkerized to match the gun. My brother has a stash of PMI mags and they work like a charm. My mags came with the gun. If had to start over I would just buy PMI's. Click link for lots of Ruger info.
