The water is over the bridge already and it is predicted to crest next week. Here is the note I got From Kenny and Tracy has confirmed.;

Well it finally happened, The shoot is cancelled due to flooding. We had a good run for over 30 years and never were caught with high water. There will not be a rain date as most have other plans and no other vacation days available. The next shoot will be October 10,11 and 12 of 2008. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you. Please pass this on to anyone you know that was planning to attend or might have reservations at one of the motels in the area so they can get a refund on their rooms.

Thanks,

Kenny

The Subgun match and the Range Officer training class will be rescheduled for next fall. I will provide updates on new schedules for the class when I know. Bummer

I don't hear many people talk about it here, but I just was informed that the Creek has been cancelled for the first time in 30 years.

I just saw that elsewhere. I even had to look at their website...its on the forum but not the main page, but hopefully they will change that soon.

Now I have nothing to look forward to in april....except my birthday, but knob creek is alot more fun.

I was hoping this was an April's Fool joke I missed, but I guess not. This was going to be our first time camping at the Knob. Frick.

One thing this may mean on the plus side is that the October shoot is going to be amazing as everyone had to wait a whole year to get their sh00t on.

Reckon what kind of effect the November presidential election will have on October's gun/gun item prices?

i think vendors should offer free shipping on there stuff if not a nice discount too.

Granted I didnt have as much as most people who go, but I wanted to get a couple cans of 5,45x39 and maybe a case or 2 of 380....the shipping will take about 1k rounds away...im sad

Id swim the creek there if i could still pick up some ammo cheaper.

Having parked in the lower lot last April I can only imagine what it looks like now.And I thought it was bad then.

I wonder how many folks will make the trip only find out there isn't a show. I'd be MAD, but there wouldn't be anyone to blame but myself.

Ah... never mind, I see how it was done.

So if you only bookmark the MAC 10 page and I had never posted it there, the MAC guy's would've never seen this.:thinking

Maybe this will be a good excuse for some of the Uzitalk guys to come to the chilli shoot instead now.

Friend of mine left today from the Netherlands... He was planning this trip to vosot the shoot. Couldn't cancel his flight anymore or he would have lost USD 1500,- worth of tickets. He'll probably still have a good time as he's also visiting a friend of his.
Lucky I'm planning the trip for October ;)

Where is that bottom picture taken of? Is that the side trail to the lower forty parking lot from the road?
