Nice AC556..................... But you need to work on your stance for FA fire............

Being a Lefty is a plus...... (like me)....... :)

"That was $18 in 3.5 seconds!"

That's 45¢ a round! Mikey, where are buying your .223? I know .223 has gotten more expensive, but not that high yet. I just bought 1,000 rds for .36¢ a round. :tongue
If I thought about how much it cost me everytime I shoot my full-autos, it would take the fun out of it, so I just consider it part of owning full-autos.

thanks... I love the gun.
and I agree with you about the lefty. I always like it when I go to my Instructor recert schools every 3 years and they look at me and go... "Oh your one of those damn leftys." ha ha...
then I beat them in the M16/AR15 speed reload drill. I love it... ha ha...

But I use the Isocolese (however you spell it) stance for my shooting including FA. Works well for me. I dont like the weaver stance. That is old school.
As a Tactical firearms instructor (10 years) I teach this stance to all my Officers as its quicker to assume and quicker to use on the move and does not require you to stop after movement and make adjustment like the weaver does. Of course this is semi auto fire mostly that we train to at work. I understand most FA shooters use the one foot in front of the other (Weaver) so they can lean into it and balance but I dont use that for any of my shooting.
I try to stay consistent with my stance for all shooting because when I go away to Smith and Wesson Academy, Glock, Bushmaster or Blackwater schools every 3 years they all teach the Icosolese stance and I dont need the confusion. Thats me. Ha ha..... I cant walk and chew gun at the same time anyways......

I agree with the Icesosolies (sp) stance when shooting handguns. Feet at least shoulders width apart, chest pointing toward target, both arms extended (head down for fast shooting, head up for accuracy shooting).

For all full-auto and semi rifle shooting I stand with strong foot back and weak foot forward. Feet farther apart for FA shooting. I would like to work on the "crouched icesoslies" (sp) stance for shooting SMGs (with movement involved).

yeah I know what you mean.

You got a good point. And I actually believe you are right. Strong foot back a bit certainly gives more support and better balance. No doubt about it. I used to shoot this way all the time. I guess I use sort of a modified version of both stances to a point.
I guess I shoot the way I do with the more Isosolese type because we do so much shooting on the move at work and its so quick to assume plus it protects the vitals more with the bullet proof vest. I guess it just sticks to me like glue.
But you are definately 100% right. My buddy shoots his Autos that way with the strong foot back too. Good balance and support.

Edited to clarify: This is the way I shoot all handguns. ( Micros to Maxies.... :) )

Kewl vid.

Who made that reliable 40 round mag? That almost as good as a beta mag.

you know what.... I honestly dont know who made that 40 rounder. It does not have a name on it and along with a bunch of factory 30 rounders which obviously run flawless, this mag also was included. I have never seen a 40 rounder feed as well as this one. But its a keeper for sure. One of the very few 40 rounder no name mags that work well.

go figure....
