I just got this one a short time ago.....It functions fine in about 500 rounds down the pipe so far....but it has a couple oddities.....

1. it has a paddle mag release
2. it has a lower marked S..E..F It's not full auto
3. it does not have a barrel shroud

the serial suggests it was built in May 2000, I have the original owners manual and it doesn't look like any of the guns that are pictured...The guy I bought it from says it's all original....

any answers......thanks

1. BIG plus in most of our opinions.
2. Damn near every HK clone has a SEF Lower
3. no barrel shroud is/was a buyer option .

Looks real nice and +1 on what StooperZero said. If you want a barrel shroud here's a link to company that sells them. The SD shroud looks really nice.

Yup, looks original. Shoot it and have a blast.

The paddle mag release was an extra cost option. The latest Todd Bailey product comes with.

SEF lowers were readily available back then so that was common on the guns. The latest product is coming with ambi Navy lowers so they must have dried up.

I think the fake suppressor was popular with people who were going to SBR or use a sear. There was a three lug barrel under the fake suppressor. Knock out the pin and remove it and your done.

The biggest complaint on these guns was FTE and replacing th SW ejector with a factory HK part usually fixed the problem.
