Just got my V-51 sbr back from vector..had been having problems w/battering when shooting suppresse...the put a g-3 locking piece in, new rear stock and appears that they refinished the entire weapon...all at n/c(bought from them last year)...beautiful job, quick turn around....thanks Rex and all there..guys..just more testimony that you can't go wrong buying from vector...you know you have a friend there!!...Beemer:biker

Nice of them to go thru your rifle . I have always wondered about the modified locking pieces in the 51 Even without the added back pressure of a suppressor they tend to allow the gun to unlock to early and as a result the carrier beats the hell out of the stock/ rear cap,

I have three with bbls between 9 and 4 inches and all mine open just fine with the std g3 locking piece.
I understand the 4" bbl belt feds need the additional energy and the short guns shooting cavim might also but SA seems to have plenty zing
