AC flash hider and muzzle thread pitch?

What's involved in removing the flash hider? I wanna put an AAC M4-2000 adapter on.

Also, what's the thread pitch on the muzzle thread?

9/16x24 tpi is correct.

To remove the flash hider you will need a strap wrench and a padded vise.

Clamp the receiver in the padded vise and use the strap wrench to remove the flash hider by turning it to the left. It has standard RH threads.

An alternate method would be to still clamp the receiver in a padded vise, but use a skinny screwdriver inserted between the vents of the flash hider to turn it. You want the screwdriver to insert from one side all the way out the opposite side vent. You will not damage the flash hider this way.

Be careful not to lose the washer when the flash hider comes off.
