Pinned damn chinese gas piston!

Ok, I can see only a couple of options here, vice the old gas piston & drive out the Chinese pin or drill it out & install the Tapco piston then drill it to match, install a new pin & grind to flush.
Is this it? Any tips are great!

It's Chinese. Take their precision way of doing it.... Use a big fuckin hammer.
