When it comes to vertical foregrips, Uzi owner’s options have been very limited. Those of us who find the traditional IMI vertical foregrip aesthetically unsatisfying or aren’t interested in marring the finish of our Uzi with a bayonet lug mounted rail have been out in the cold, until now. Enter barrelxchange’s new foregrip integrated Rail System.

Barrelxchange hits a home run, bringing another high quality product to Uzi owners. This is the best vertical foregrip setup I’ve seen. The foregrip integrated rail is ROCK SOLID. It greatly enhances the controllability of the Uzi during full auto fire.

This target was shot with 400 rounds at a distance of 12 yards using barrelxchange’s rail with a vertical foregrip.

This innovative design incorporates a metal, picatinny type rail into a new, high quality set of plastic foregrip panels. Installation is a breeze, taking less than 5 minutes to remove my old panels and replace with the new. It’s that simple. The picatinny rail is retained by the grip panels and the grip panels mount using the original hardware. No alignment problems were encountered and no manipulation was required to install.

The foregrip integrated Rail System is not limited to duty as a foregrip. This versatile product will accept any type of accessory that is compatible with a picatinny rail – lights, lasers, bipods, the possibilities are endless.

Unlike other rail systems that may use or interfere with the bayonet lug, barrelxchange’s Rail System does not impede the use of your bayont lug. This allows the user to attach both a foregrip and a bayonet simultaneously.

Barrelxchange’s Rail system is a simple, well thought out, alternative to other products available to the Uzi owner today. The rail system is $60.00 USD delivered and worth every penny to this Uzi fan. If you are looking for a high quality, easy to use Uzi Rail System that looks fantastic, you should give barrelxchange’s Rail System serious consideration.

Thanks to Dave B. and Hunt101.com for photographic support.

Now if there were a compass, matches or magnesium and flint, fishingline and a couple of hooks inside that handle it would really be complete.

Nice system and great pictures J2T. Looks like you've had enough practice with that target....you are hereby challenged to a shoot next time you come down my way.

We'll set up some metal targets on stakes at the rifle range. After we blow off all that practice ammo.

Got some nice 14ga steel that will work just fine for shooting.

I accept your challenge. And look forward to it!

Hey, Barrelxchange,

I saw the rail you had at Vector's table at the Creek and it looked quite well made.

Can you make a rail that _does_ interfere with the bayonet lug? Not one that mounts to it, but one that extends beyond it. I'd be interested in one that is long enough to mount both a vertical grip and flashlight. I'm not particularly concerned about losing the bayo capability.

J2T, thanks for the great, detailed review! :)

BTW, which brand/model foregrip are you using (the one in the photos)?

Hey Carcass
sorry we didn't meet up

The way the mounting screws are located you can turn the rail around 180 degrees and gain about an inch out in front, it doesn't quite completely cover the bayo lug but comes close. this would give you enough room to mount a flashlight in front of the vertical grip.

Tony k, I have no idea what brand they are. They are aluminum, I bought the last 2 my local FFL had for $50 each. They are VERY well made, I wish I knew who made them. My FFL dealer didn't even know where he got them.

Holy SHIT!! I just received two of barrelxchange's integrated rail grips (one for Mini and one for full size) and these things are awesome! No more clunky bayonet mounted rails for me. These things are beautifuly made and the perfect design. Very solid and low profile so they are not anoying to hold on to.

There are photos of the full size grip posted so I thought I'd post this photo of the Mini grip. There's an added problem on the Mini UZI in that the butt of the folded stock crosses the middle of the foregrip just below it. If the rail isn't very low profile and aligned just right, the stock will hit the rail. That happens with most bayonet mounted rails and I had to hack off my old rail so it was a short little stub hanging onto the bayonet lug. barrelxchange's rail fits beautifully on the Mini. The stock doesn't hit the rail or a vertical grip mounted on the end of the rail.

If you don't have one of these, get one now!

Not sure and I'm not home right now to check on it. I picked it up at a gun show from one of the endless tables of people selling AR-15 parts and accessories.

here's the ad on Knight's site (http://www.knightarmco.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=111)

I've got one exactly like it, not exactly sure why the one in the picture shows up with that white crap on it. Mine's pitch black like RoverDave's. I'm just speculating it's a Knight's, but it could really be one of a hundred other brands, since there are quite a few companies that are selling foregrips that look exactly the same, and probably even come from the same manufacturer.
