View Full Version : Optics on a Galil?

I'm considering putting some optics on a Galil and was wondering what everyone else was using. I'm trying to find the IMI scope mount that allows you to mount AR15 carry handle type scopes but was also considering the gas tube rail to possibly mount an Aimpoint type scope. Any experience or recommendations?

My Galil .223 folder has a Gen II + Night Vision System mounted on it. It's a bit top heavy, but works out fine. Believe it was an original Weaver-type mount that I had to do some work on.

I just looked for them and they're gone. Some idiot must've deleted them from my PC. Of course, I'm the only one with the password...

I use a Israeli IMI Trilux mount with an Tlilux scope
throw level type.

Still looking for any other type of mount for a reg scope.
preferably a throw lever weaver typa or a backward slanted AR channel mount.
