When I grow up up I swear I'm going to take the time to figure out how to post pics on the net. I have a sweet digital cam and all the soft ware, but at this point I've never even attempted to post pics. I'm going to have a friend that's much more computer savy that myself come over and give me lessons.

Even after you get the sear in hand, you'll have to wait in line some more for Curtis to do the conversion. :D

Not exactly...we have some local talent that's more than capable of doing the job. I hope to have the sear installed way before the form 4 is approved.

I'm picking up my Gun South 16" Para today also. :). I picked mine up before the prices spiked to! I must have called 100 different places and finally found one. Now my long wait begins for the sear. I would love to cut the barrel down to 14" but since spare uppers are rare and expensive I think I'll just keep it the way that it is. Enjoy your FNC

I've thought about that as well, but decided to keep mine stock.

Treedawg, Have you considered calling Curtis Higgins and asking if he can do the work on your gun without having the sear? He did an excellent job of remarking the one I owned, and sear placement is so very critical that I'd want someone like him who's done probably 95%+ of all these conversions cutting, drilling and milling on mine.

Just a thought as these aren't drop in sears.

No, I haven't considered that, but that's a great idea. Can you PM Curtis' phone number. I used to have it laying around, but I can't seem to locate it now.

I called Curtis about sending the receiver to be milled before the sear gets here and he said he needs the sear to be with the gun to fit and test. I was hoping:(
