The S/N on my Sterling is 800XXX. Do you think the "80" represents 1980 and "0XXX" the total number of tubes registered. Based on my gun, "0XXX" is less than 300.

If your Sterling mag well states KR 800xxx the date that the mag was stamped was FEB 1965.

...the serial #s run at @ KR 80XXX (five digits... not six) in Feb '65.

I think that Kyle has an Andrewski DLO Sterling tube gun... not an original weapon!

My bad, a slip of the xxxxxxxxxx's. The parts kit was from a gun that was made in 1965.
