still searching for a fair priced FNC semi.
In my searches i came across more than once, full AUTO FNCs NIB that are law enforce only models or POST 86 guns.
i wonder, is there any way to convert a POST 86 full auto to a legal semi auto so i can in turn turn it back to a reg sear gun.
is there a way to do something to the gun like weld over holes or something then get BATF to remove it from the registry.
getting the gun in the first place wouldnt be a problem since a buddy has a SOT and class II. these guns are cheap being $1400 NIB.
I know very little about the FNC and only have a sear. is it possible to do the above?

as long as the registry (BATF) shows the weapon as a MG, it can never be un-register-ed.
period. end of sentence.

now, if you can find a PD that has semi FNC's, they can be purchased and a S&H sear installed. just a matter of making a deal with the right person at the PD..

good luck

What do you consider a fair price? I've seen several in the $2700.00-3000.00 range recently. Unless you luck up on a host I don't think you'll do much better than than the high 2K range. They were selling in the low to mid 2K range prior to sear mania.

Just picked up a nib full stock for $2500.. I bought it for my friend who was looking for one.. They are still out there. He had it posted for 3K on one of the boards.. Made him an offer and he took it.

I just saw one at one of my local pawn/gun shops. It was behind glass but as near as I can tell it looked great. 18" folder I believe. The price was $2995.00 It did have a hold on it until 7-2, but after that it was fair game.

It is a full auto FNC. S&H converted FNC's with a proprietary sear he made. At $8900 it is still over priced. $7500 is a retail price for one these days.

Yeah It seems it is over priced. I see a sear on there for like 3.5k that + around another 3k for a semi and add ( price to put it all together here) and im sure its still cheaper than that... Thanks for the help :)
