Looking for information on Billistics RR conversions?
Differences between model A and model B conversions? Model B stamped SMG? How thorough are these conversions? Does anyone know what Billistics did? What bolt is used? Bar removed? SMG barrel or Semi? Value?

Reason I ask is I have a RR Billistics Model B conversion waiting on transfer to my dealer. It is time to start shopping parts so I need to know more about this conversion, stuff my transfering dealer doesn't know. Where model B would be it is stamped SMG. Also I no longer need my NIB model A, any takers?

Usually Billistics are considered one of the BEST conversions out there. They were the most thorough. Most Uzi conversions still had the semi spec trunions. I've heard Billistics went the extra mile to remove the semi trunions with SMG spec. They are completely interchangeable with a factory IMI Uzi. They are re-engraved with the proper Uzi smg markings.
BUT just because it is stamped Billistics doesn't mean it was completed by them. I came real close to buying a Billistics conversion. It was stamped Billistics on the side and that is it. I had paid for the gun after the dealer told me it ran fine. I drove 4 hours to find it couldn't shoot more than 2 rounds before jamming. This gun may have had the Billistics stamp but it was not completed by them. It was all semi spec except for the removal of the bolt blocking rail which was done very sloppy too. Be careful. It was a painful process. I even gave the dealer an Israeli SMG trigger group and he still couldn't get it to run without jamming. I look back and think it had something to do with the group industries bolt that was in the gun. As many group bolts were made were warped.
