Would there be any intrest in a one day get-together at the Knob Creek Gun Range in West Point KY? I talked with Kenny Monday when I was there and he is open to reserving spots for a group on a Saturday. I'm thinking maybe latter in Aug. this year. $9.00 a person to shoot all day, BYOA (Bring your own ammo) I know this would limit the number of F/A shooter to KY residents or those with year long 4320.20's for travel to KY for this time frame. Semi shooter from anywhere also welcome.
And/Or we could always pan ahead for another date if there is enought intrested in a one day shoot for latter. I just enjoy getting together and shooting.
How about it, local and soon and/or from father away and latter?

I am all for it. I live very close, so any date is fine with me.

I am about 5 hours away...But I might be in for it.
The KCR shoot is only a couple months away and so far I plan on showing up for that...At least to watch....
Anybody have any opinions on the thoroughbreds???????

Looks like we don't have a group for Knob Creek. Maybe some other time.

Maybe it's different now, but a couple of years ago my Nextel did not receive a signal at Knob Creek. I had planned on using my cell, but couldn't.

My cell phone signal has always been spotty at best at Knob Creek. A little better in the parking and camping areas.

I was there in the Spring of this year and have a Nextel and it worked somewhat. I think Nextel service sucks overall but it did work for me there. I was talking to friends when I was in the pole barn. Also the area to the left rear of the main firing line by the porta potties it also worked.
I also met someone in front of the pole barn to sell him an extended mag catch. We got in touch w/ each other via our cell phones when we were both waiting for the pole barn to open. I don't think he had a Nextel either.

I have not had any problems lately with AT&T wireless service at the Creek, but yeah, traditionally, cell phones don't get out well at the Creek.

My Verizon phone worked fine as long as I wasn't under the pole barn.
