Having read through the posts, I was surprised to not see anyone using the Giles Sling on the UZI. This sling is really one of the first and finest slings designed for tactical use.

The original issue sling for the UZI is very simple and works excellent with the gun. A person can live very happy with the stock factory sling. But once you use the Giles Sling made by The Wilderness in Phoenix Arizona (Arizona, home of the worlds best shooters), you will never really even consider using a different brand of sling.

The good thing about the UZI is that you buy the sling designed for the Steyr A.U.G. rifle. Which best of all is the lowest priced sling they make, running around $20 on most web sites? Of course as with most subguns the sling works best with the fixed wood stock (my view of the usefulness of folding stocks bleeding through). Truth is it works with the folding stock also.

I just think a person is much better served with a real stock. How it is the Germans can come out with an old, user unfriendly design and get so many to buy off on it being a must have is beyond me.

The UZI shooter is much better served with an original fixed stock in a length that fits the shooter.

How about a photo of the sling on your UZI?
