I looked a factory mini today at a gun show that was a registered reciever. This wan't a cut down reciever. It looked to be 95-98% shape. It was easy to pass on at $6500.00 but I'm sure I'll be looking back in few years saying man that was a deal. I should have bought it. Well, I can't buy them all. I have to leave a few for the rest of the Uzi nuts...LOL

You might look back in a few years and think $6500 was a steal depending on how the SMG market goes, but it isn't a deal now! You should be able to find one in the $4000-$4500 range. That will look even better a few years from now.

This guy had several very nice SMG's but I don't think he was interested in selling any of them based on hios prices....

treedawg, I find that alot at gun shows. Guys have tables with their firearms just to show off, they put insane prices on them because they have to offer it for sale or they wouldn't be allowed to even be there so they jack up the price twice sometimes three times as much, people like that give honest retailers a bad name.

Must put a price on them? Really? Around here there are always people with guns on their table that aren't for sale.

As far as deals go, you just never know where you'll find one. I've gotten some good deals at gun shows, but I've also seen a lot of way over priced stuff there too. Stuff sold on-line is the same way. Sometimes you'll find a good deal but often times stuff is marked up because the seller knows he can reach a larger audience on-line and sooner or later he'll find a sucker.

The internet has saved me hundreds of dollars because of the competition. Most of the shows here in NE PA are small with very little selection. I know it's the policy of one of the larger Gun clubs that you must have stuff for sale unless you are non-profit (i.e. NRA, US Armed forces, etc.) The bigger shows with 1200plus tables are typically the only shows you will find a deal on firearms.
