Wouldn't feed reliably in my FS but OK in Sofltodd's mini.

cyclic rate seemed to vary big time in my gun, seemed like it wouldn't cycle the action reliably.

OAL also seemed to short, and bullets were pushed back into case in some ftf's

Why did I buy it in the first place?

Umm..

OK it was on sale at Bass pro for like 50cents less per hundred compared to win white box.

Bought one box of UMC in my life in 30.30 and it sucked beyond words.

I fired half the box and gave it away. Dirtiest stuff I ever fired bar none.

Soft brass, smokey powder, lots of residue, and every primer in 30.30 was protruding from the pocket after firing....not only in my gun but two others also.

No more for me...even if it were free.

I bought a box of 357 Sig and ran it through my Full size FA Vector without a single malfunction.

Didn't seem to be much hotter than regular 9mm.

Used a 357 Sig barrel from BarrelXchange and a Vector Grease Gun trigger housing with modified GG mags for 40 cal.

I dislike dirty ammo - especially shooting suppressed. It either sandblasts the suppressor baffles (like Winchester white box) or blows soot back into the action. It's the main reason I bother to reload 9mm.

My stock of white box is always shot without a suppressor after LRM's warning and HK's letter came out.

BTW, if you reload, learn from one of my mistakes. I do not recommend Blue Dot. It's spec'd for lots of handgun calibers, but I'm forever cleaning those little unburnt disks out of my guns' actions. I finally used up all the ammo from that misguided experiment. I now have about 6lbs of that shit on my bench collecting dust. Next MG shoot, I'll donate it to the dynamite wagon.
