I have someone who needs one of those accessory rails that mount to your scope tube so he can install a surefire light. Does anyone know where to get one? I have seen them on alot of sniper rifles but I can't find anything other than the IOR Valdala type Picantinny accessory rings on the net.
The rings might work if not for the fact that the gun already has Ruger rings, so an accessory rail mounted to the scope tube would be ideal (and cheaper than trying to get a picantinny base rail for the Ruger system and then install the IOR rings).
The guy has a .44 integral gun and wants to mount a small light on it somewhere. I figured the above type system would work best. The scope lights you see for varmint hunting in Cabelas are just too big. Any suggestions or info?
