is usually billed as the world's largest. I can't confirm that, but it is huge. Acres and acres of guns, ammo and militaria. The last I checked class 3 firearms aren't allowed but there will be thousands of clips, parts, etc there.
The show is October 23 and 24 in at the Expo Center in Tulsa, OK.

I believe it's 11 acres of guns all under 1 roof. It's massive. Around 4000 tables. Walking at a faster speed than I normally do at a gun show, I think it took me 18 hours to visit all the tables.
It's really sad that they don't allow full autos there.

RD is correct. Wear good walking shoes and plan to make a weekend out of it. Take along a backpack or something to carry items in. Pack a lunch if you can. If you see something you like, buy it as you may never make it back to that table again. :)
I'm enroute and my uzitalk shirt is packed!! hope to see ya there!!...Ed

When did Wannenmacher stop allowing Class III/NFA items?

I think the first time I went was 4 years ago and it was that way then. Not sure when they started the foolish restriction.

I'm embarrassed to say, "I guess I never noticed."
I go to most of the Tulsa gun shows (about 1 a month) and usually see a good deal of full-auto goodies.
Wanenmacher's is so big that I was too busy looking at everything else.
I'll have to pay better attention next weekend. It's kind of strange because my local Class III dealer was telling me to look for him at his table.
FYI

I've seen numerous C3 items at the Tulsa show. I live in Tulsa and have been many times (sometimes you have to look for the C3 items but they are there).
It is definitely a show worth attending. I joked with my brother that someone could do a documentary on this show as a part of true Americana. You will see all shapes sizes and types of firearms and people at this show. My favorites include seeing a dealer with a Hotchkiss revolving cannon (2" bore - beautiful brass gatlin gun on steroids) and an original 45/70(?) gatlin gun (again, beautiful brass, etc.). Well worth the price of admission.

tomk, welcome to UZI Talk.
If you've seen full autos there, they brought them in against the rules. Their web site says no machine guns. *Note that it's for our safety!
Thank you for deciding to attend the WANENMACHER'S TULSA ARMS SHOW. This is the original show in Tulsa and the WORLD'S LARGEST GUN SHOW. This is our 50th Anniversary show!

1.>>> All GUNS MUST BE UNLOADED AND TIED INOPERABLE. Ties will be available at the show for 20/$1.
2. You must be sure each gun is unloaded and tied:

b. Before allowing anyone to handle it.

3. No ammo in reach of guns that it will fit into.
4. Not allowed are: Full automatic firearms, bulk black powder, bombs, grenades, etc.

5. Any publication or video which shows how to violate the law is prohibited, including but not limited to, booby traps, bombs, terrorist activity unless related to safety and prevention of such.
6. Non-gun items must have prior approval. Gun or knife tables may have no more than 10% non-gun items.
7. Items found offensive by the show management will be removed from your table.
8. No soliciting in the aisles. No raffles without prior approval.
9. No food sales without prior approval for each show.
10. You are urged, for your protection, to obtain and furnish identification for all sales.
Yep, I've seen the rules. Just passing along what I have seen. I once had a table there several years ago to get rid of a number of items that I had collected over the years (to fund first NFA).
I've seen MP5s, Thompson smg (WH 1928), Macs, etc. Nothing blatant (display) and usually you have to ask about the item. Maybe this weekend there will be none. Who knows - I'll just go and see.
On the collector side there are generally a number of very nice displays (Browning collections, old Colt and Henry collections, etc.). I've also seen some of the extremely high dollar (?) African type double rifles and such that sticker upwards of $20-$35k+. These are the ones with all of the fine scroll work, fancy woodwork, etc.
That's the fun of this show - you never know what you will see.
Went to Wannemacher today. Did not even get to cover the entire show (missed about 2/3 of the upstairs) but saw the following:
M60 Maremont (E4? door mount configuration - spade grips, aircraft sight, tripod. etc.)
Swedish K (Pearl conversion)
M16 (shorty)
M60 was $30K, I didn't ask price on the M16 (have seen it before and it is not cheap). The Swedish K is not for sale anymore:).
Highest price gun that I saw was a $32000 Henry rifle. Great show from my perspective. Both top and bottom levels were packed.

tomk, you didn't miss much.
And for the SA ethusiast, upstairs at the Tulsa show F.A.W. had new IMI 25 round Uzi mags for $20 cash, so did DeltaForce downstairs), I saw a 16" 45 barrel for $50 (the same guy had a front sight tool for $25 and a mag loader for $10 in a (beat up) Action Arms box, and a FA dealer sample.
I saw 4 IMI carbines, one in the fitted plastic box, one in the soft case with the big UZI logo, and two on racks. Asking prices were around $1500. There was one Norinco that a guy was walking around with, I didn't bother to ask the price. Various people had Uzi parts kits from $175 to $300.
I think I walked pretty much every aisle (that's not the same as seeing everything, of course) betwen 1045AM and 415PM non-stop.
Just got back from vacation and the BIG gun show...didnt see the first Vector Uzi there...saw a few IMI uzi's but they still had "assault ban'' pricing....about the only deal was the GLOCK dealer selling normal cap. mag's for $19....his name was Paul Rosenberg @ www.bigstatedist.com ....they had a lot of ammo for sale...what deals did ya'll find?

IMI UZI's are still banned from import (1989 ban) so the recent ending of the US AWB has no direct affect on their price.
Yeah...we have G. Bush Sr. to thank for that one.....still, I was hoping to see more Vectors there, or get a smoking deal with SO many people selling...did get some deals though...Ed
