Thought this might interest some. Had the first "BIG" Gunshow in my area this weekend, (Sat. and Sun.), and was I ever surprised at the UZI situation I found.

First of all, there was 9 different guns available......various conditions and accessories. Three of these would be considered to be "New In The Box." All Model A and B's. Two were absolutely "NEW" Model B .45 acp's in the Black Plastic case with all factory accessories and paperwork.

Prices? Well, one .45 was priced at $1,995.00! The only thing I could get from the other guy about his was, "Make an Offer!" New Model B 9mm in Black Plastic case with everything was priced at $1,595.00. The rest were priced at $1,495.00, two of which were Model A's and there was one NIB Model A 9 mm for $1,695.00.........Interesting, huh?

Those are crazy prices! You can easily do better than that if you really want one.

I see a lot for sale in the $1500-2000 range. I got mine for $1000 & felt that was plenty. I've got a recent price guide & it listed them for about $1100, assuming good condition of course. You can occasionally get one in the $800-900 range if you're lucky. Keep in mind even if the AWB dies, the import restrictions stay so only the domestically produced Uzis would lose much in the way of value.
