Anyone know what could be causing so many stove pipes? I can rarely get through a mag without it jamming at least once. The empty shell will get caught between the bolt and the barrel or in the ejection port and jam up. I've replaced the ejector rod already and it didn't fix the problem. I replaced the extractor as well.
Is there anything else I can do to try to fix this?

I would try a longer ejector rod and possibly a new recoil spring.

It is probably an ammo problem.
My M11/9 stovepipes on Blazer/Al all the time. Runs fine on brass. Probably has something to do with the lighter weight and high cyclic rate.

Hello boofus:
First, what type of MAC are you having problems with?
Has the gun ever functioned without the jams?
What type(s) of ammo are you using? Blazer is a NO-NO in OB guns.
Are you keeping the bolt well lubed?

It's a SWD built Texas M10/9. The ammo I use is either Wolf or Winchester white box. Oddly enough the Wolf seems to have fewer problems. I tried lubing it generously but it doesn't seem to help.
It's always jammed, I got it NIB. Every now and then I can get off a magazine without problems, but more often than not I'll have a stovepipe. The next round gets stripped and fed into the chamber just fine but the shell casing that gets stuck in there stops the bolt from setting off the fresh round. :(
I do notice something weird with how the magazine seats in the grip. If you push it all the way up the magazine will actually block the bolt from closing. You have to pull down on the mag to give it enough room to close. Today it tore one of the metal feed lips off one of my zytel mags.

Where do I get a longer ejector? I bought a new one from Cobray a month ago and compared it with the factory one and they were both the same length.

I built my M10 45 and until I replaced the entire upper receiver assembly with on from RPB, I had similar problems......

Then go buy a decent hardware store or welding shop and buy a rod of similar diameter. Peen one end and your GTG. I would start with one about 1/8" longer than you have and go from their.
If you go by a welding shop buy a A2 rod. Hope this helps.

Hi boofus:
I wish someone could have talked you out of buying a "Texas MAC". Don't worry too much, they can be "fixed". Sorry, but I only have first-hand knowledge of the PS and PS/RPB guns.
Replacing the upper with a RPB might not work since you have a 9mm M10. PS and PS/RPB guns use a double-column double-feed mag. Yours uses a single-feed mag, correct..?!?! The bolts are different for the 2 types of mags.
Try contacting Wildmann43 on the MACguns.com board. This guy knows almost everything about all MACs.
Good luck,

TX SWD Macs are fine. SWD fully welded them. As for single or double feed that is just a matter of the bolt.

I'll try getting a longer rod to use as an ejector and see if that helps any. Thanks for the info everyone.

I went and got some 1/8" stainless steel rod to make a longer ejector. It didn't help.
What seems to make the ejection stronger is adjusting the tension on the extractor. I was afraid to bend my new extractor after the factory one snapped in two when I was tryin to adjust it. This new one must be much tougher steel because it didn't break and I was able to make it grip the shell a little tighter.
We'll see if it makes any difference tommorrow at the range.
I hate guns that use this leaf spring type extractor. I have problems with every single gun that uses that design. That new Colt Delta Elite I got is having extractor problems too, the Rock Island 1911A1 I had before I got the Colt had the same extractor tension issues. Now this MAC too. :(
