Heya! Thanks for the welcome in the other thread (didn't want to hijack it). I lurked a while before joining, and a while longer before posting. So far, this appears to be a first class site. There's not much flaming going on, which is a nice change from most sites.

Myself, I have a SA which I pieced together on a Group reciever. Sadly, I do not live in a class 3 state, so I cannot own an Uzi in the proper configuration. I didn't do the welding myself, and D&D helped me with the ins and outs of getting it all to work. I don't have a digital camera, so I can't show it. My little frankenuzi is surprisingly accurate, I can muster 3" groups at 100 yards, with open sights (shooting 148gr 9mm, 16" barrel). It's actually more accurate than my AK style rifles.

I recognize a couple names from other sites, it's kinda neat to see that others share an interest in the same type of guns as I do. Keep up the good work with this site!

If you have to; beg, borrow or steal a digital camera. I'm sure we'd all love to see what you built! I know I would.

I don't live in a Class III state either but we have to make do with index finger power. Saves $ in the long run though. Welcome to you aswell and I would like to see what you built too.:welcome :uzi

Hey JIMBO, don't try to rationalize it by saying that it saves you money. You need to get out of that liberal state and have some fun!!! Let me know the next time you're passing through the upper midwest and I'll poison your mind with some full autos!

RoverDave-

I am sold on the idea and it sounds awesome. I just may take you up on that offer. I'd really like to try out that brass catcher of yours, you know, the Rover one !

Actually I have been thinking of taking that full auto free class just outside of Las Vegas, NV. I am pretty sure it is still going on, I think I saw it advertised recently in a magazine. Sounds like a truck load of fun, I think all you have to do is get yourself there and just about all the rest is provided (shooting wise), I'm not sure about room and food.:thumbs_up :clap :uzi
