Dear Competitors,

Yes, in spite of the recent hurricanes, there will be a match on Sunday, October 3. C-3 and pistol. Nothing to fancy, nothing to hard. All bays, likely four of them, can be completed in 3 mags or less. Last shoot before the national match at KCR. Hope you all have roofs after the recent storms.

It was a great day at the range today.
I just got back Friday from a week in Vegas for work. I did have a little time to hang out w/ Herr-Pear and got a few brass catchers from him. He was kind enough to show me around a little. Anyone looking for an UZI brass catcher needs to see him. Very fair price, money back guarantee and top quality work. SoFLtodd and I got hooked up w/ a new prototype he has that will work with the full size or MINI WITH optics. I absolutely love this thing. Worked out great at the shoot today. Didn't miss one piece of brass from my MINI.
Below is a picture of mag nut SoFLtodd packing enough mags to scare any terrorist away. Also is a little pic of the new "prototype" brass catcher. I've got some more video that I need to process from the match but I'm beat at the moment.

Man that's messed up amphibian. As you can see I am relaxing my arms on my L mag clamps. RD don't buy this jibber jabber from amphibian. I had to relax due to the previous alien attack earlier that day where the aliens were forcing themselves out of my back as I prepared to shoot. Talk about distractions while trying to focus on what to do.

Its obvious in this picture taken by a local news crew

It looks like 2 of them hit me at once.

Thankfully amphibian and cvasqu03 were peeking around the corner and helped a fella out.

I was saved by the shiney glow from the uzi belt being stylishly worn by cvasqu03

Anyway what a great day of shooting! We had a blast! I will post more pics tomorrow when wake up with what feels to be a pretty good sun burn.

The Herr-Pear brass catcher for the mini uzi with optics is nothing short of @#$! awesome. I plan to put it through it's paces this week and give feed back but so far I have to say that by just looking at it you can tell a heck of a lot of thought went into it's design and it is a thing of functional beauty. It even rotates just enough to allow a flag to be put into the gun to show it is safe and to check that the gun is clear.

Tactical Firearms Academy you rock the house man thank you again for a wonderful day in the sun. I learned a boat load and I am looking forward to next month.
