Does Cobray mag catch work?

I have a MAC 10 inbound and I am wondering about the Cobray two position mag catch. It is supposed to work for both cut mags and uncut grease gun mags.
Does it work as advertised?

I made my mine and it works fine. If I can do it with a very basic home shop they should have no trouble making one that works.

Works in both 45 and 40 S&W.

I'm told they work fine. I also ordered one for my PS M10/45.
