My local Wal-Mart still has the 100 rd. bulk boxes of 9mm 115 grain for $10.96 each. Not a bad deal for new plinking stuff.

I've shot close to 10,000 rounds of this stuff through my Beretta within the last year with no failures of any kind. Good stuff!

That stuff is a great deal. I use it for plinker pistol ammo quite a bit.

I just ran several hundred through my M16 and it works great. No more mail order 9mm while this deal is on. Reloading is a drag too at these prices.

Park the Mercedes on the street and keep the ammo warm and safe in the garage. :biggrin2 Karl.

Good luck JIMBO. I've never seen a Wal-Mart store stock more than about 10 boxes of the stuff.

I have also went through several 1000 rounds of this same Winchester ammo without a single problem. I asked the guy at the sporting goods counter if I could get a discount if I purchased a case at a time he said no. I figured as much, but it's hard to complaine at these prices.

That $10.96/100 price is an every day price, you can order a case from the department manager. The department manager's hours are usually M-F 7-4, and there is not a case discount. I worked a Wal*Mart sporting goods counter for a few months and sold the hell out of the stuff, including a guy than ran thousands of rounds through his Vector.

The WalMart in Manchester, NH after bitching to the manager every time I went in there, keeps at any given time, at least 5 cases behind the counter and even more out back. Last time I was in there she said to me they still sell out regularly. They always have it when I go though. Maybe it's because I usually buy 3 cases at a time?

I went to my local Wal-Mart and they only had 10 boxes left in stock so I took them. He said they are always low because there is an indoor shooting range that gives the boxea to their gun class students.:eek!

Wally World. Cleaned them out two weeks ago, (9 boxes) and 2 full cases in the past 5 days.
One more case tomorrow, and one every 2 weeks from now till I can't afford anymore....or my wife divorces me. The latter is very doubtful.
I also want to get some Wolf 9mm so if anyone hears of a good deal on it please speak out on the board.
Thanks

I just picked up 4k of the Walmart 9mm. Great stuff. Want to have plenty when my UZI finally gets here.
How is the Wolf 9mm? How dirty is it? I've fired Wolf through my AK (dirty, but hey, its an AK :) ), but nothing but Q3131/Q3131A through my AR.
What does everyone run through their UZI's?

Mostly 115 Blaser, I can get it everyday for $3.79/50.
I have used Winchester White Box, I bought 5K rounds for $1.99/50 last year during mega-Sale at Bass Pro.
Use Winchester Q3131/Q3131A in ARs. Last purchase was 3K rounds at Bass Pro for $2.96/50.
As you can see, I wait for the big sales and then buy bulk.

Dang! Looks like I need to shop Bass Pro. How are you getting these deals? Is it a walk-in deal or an online deal? How did you find out about it, or did you just get lucky?

Both were posted over on AR15.com, in the hometown (Texas) section. One guy bought 15K rounds of Q3131/Q3131A (all of it); by the time I got there they were sold out, but they issued me a raincheck and I picked mine up a few weeks later.

You bought it at the right time, because theres no bargains on ammo there now, unless they have a page that doesn't show on their website.

The Oshmans Super Sports stores here in Texas sell 115gr 9mm Blazer for $3.99 a box, which works out to $86 a case, after tax. $32 a case cheaper than Wally-World. :D

Bass Pro is trying to come to Arkansas "if" they get special incentives like real estate tax breaks. No way in hell do I want them here on a special deal. They can pay their way just like everyone else. It will kill the local gun dealers and sporting goods shops. Then, after they rape the local economy they take all of that cash back to Missouri.
Say no to Bass Pro with their special deal.
Wal Mart is bad enough with their pimply faces min. wage workers. I like a gun store where the guy knows your name, what you like, and likes to trade.

Excuse the above thread hijack, but I am against any special interest group or anyone who doesn't pay their own way.
