Hello to all..Ive been doing some research on UZI's and I can help but notice the WIDE price range between a preban Uzi and a New Vector Uzi..Whats the deal with this?????? I would guess that the preban is more cash just b/c its a "preban" ans made by IMI. Even with the long barrel and a semi auto that dosent require any tax stamps is a minimum of $1200.00 were as a VEctor is $600.00. Is it safe to say that Vecors quality is equal to IMI or is the old saying "ya gets what ya pays for" aplicable here and than should I save some more cash and go for the IMI preban.

Any help in clearing up my mind would be much apresheated!!

Boy would my english teacher be proud of that paragraph. :argue

Vector UZIs are put together very well. Vector purchased the BEST parts from all over the world to make the ultimate UZI. Small Arms Review magazine did an article on them a while back, I cannot find the issue right now.

As far as the price difference goes, I think that most of that is due to the IMI guns not being imported any more and some guys wanting the "original".
