Like many, I have a drawer of holsters that didnt quite work or a footlocker of 'stuff' that didnt work to my statisfaction....what I did find that worked well was the 6 mag pouch for the AR-15 from spec-ops...www.specopsbrand.com...I purcahsed four (about 30$ each) of the pouches and hung them on my MOLLE vest and found it to be very comfortable when placed on the hips.....I then put cardboard dividers in the pouch and put 10 UZI mags in each pouch....it rides well with 40 mags but it IS heavy...if placed on the hips it rides well and doesnt place a lot of strain on the back....it works with the 25rd mag's but the 32rd'ers wont fit.....I've cut my rig down to two 6 mag pouches for 20 mag's for range practice...if your on a tight budget the SAW gunner's pouch runs about 10 to 15 dollars at the surplus stores and would do the same thing.....I found the card board to be helpful in keeping down rattle and holding the mags in place....the pouch has a velcro flap and a fastex buckle to secure the cover flap ....hope this helps as my discard pile is rather lagre, but I found that this does work for me ....Ed

Try running a mile or two with it on and see how comfortable it is.

I'd go with a vest , even if I had to make it myself.

Good idea, and yes I did wear it while running on the treadmill here at the house (and to keep from getting kicked out of the gym, or having the nieghbors call the police...even then, that much wieght wore me out!!)...I had a friend in the rigger shop sew on snap loops for a pistol belt onto the vest so the wieght is transfered to the hips and not the shoulders....it is a mesh vest but still gets HOT!!...Just being helpful, if I could get back have the cash I've put into some stuff that didnt work to my satisfaction I'd get another Vector Uzi....Ed

Surplus M3 "Greasegun" mag pouches are perfect for Uzi 40-rounders. That's how I lug mine around.
