L34A1 Received - Looks Good

Received the Sterling today. The receiver is papered with Wilson as the manufacturer and the suppressor is by Don's Guns. The fit and finish look excellent to me - but this is my first Sterling and maybe I don't know what to look for. I will post some good pictures. As soon as I get to shoot it I will post a function report. It also came with a non-suppressed barrel and it looks like you can change the can out with the non-supressed barrel by loosening an allen head screw and doing a complete barrel switch. I will try to post pictures and range reports in both configurations.

The Supressor and additional barrel are actually secured by threads on the barrel and then secured by two allen head bolts when desired depth of seating is reached. It seems very secure and precise.

It feels lighter and more maneuverable than my full size Uzi with an AWC can. Definitely bigger (and heavier) that my Mini with a can.

Had an opportunity to quickly test fire the MK5 at an indoor range in Houston. It is extremely quiet and amazingly controllable. It is the first Sterling I have ever fired and I am very impressed. I only shot about 100 rounds. I can't wait to go out to a buddy's farm to really put it through the paces.

nice gun. I'd like to also point out that you have a remarkable thread count in your carpet. It must be very comfortable in bare feet.:D
