Met a board member yesterday.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting board member 'amphibian'. We met at an indoor range and I got to shoot his Mini with the Docter Optic sight for a couple of hours. WOW ! :D

I took along my So. African 25rd mags (S1,S5 and, S8) and they all worked flawlessly in his gun. I also had the opportunity to try out his C&S 72rd drum mag, another WOW ! :D

I also learned quite a bit about Uzi's in general, amphibian is a veritable wealth of knowledge on the subject.

Now I'm even more anxious to get my Mini.

I am hearing about Knob Creek for the first time. Is it some sort of annual meeting for FA buffs ? Or UZI or SMG in general ? Thanks for letting me know ?:D

Knob Creek is THE MG Bi-annual event of the year. The BEST MG SHOW in the US. I've heard it isn't the best as far as the shoot goes but the SHOW is the best. I've only been once. It was awesome. I have some friends that go every year and that is the ONLY MG show that they make the effort to go to.

Glad to hear those SA mags worked great! I still haven't gotten out to shoot my Uzi (Model B Carbine) for the first time but am really looking forward to trying it out with those mags. (S1's,S6's,S8's)
