I am so glad that I have a real hobby to spend my free time with. Some of you probably think that this is a rediculous statement. But I just got done talking to my brother back east and one of his rants was that he does not have any hobbies. He gets home from work, eats dinner, and goes to bed only to start the same thing the next day. Nothing to look forward to. This is alot more common than many people think.

I, like many of you, am lucky to have the shooting sports as a hobby. I look forward to taking my varmint rifles to the range and testing out my hand loads. I love building and refinishing firearms. I've built a couple of FAL's and bolt action guns. I've even built some of my own muzzle brakes to keep my FAL's US compliant. Spending Friday and Saturday nights making machinest drawings of my next project with a nice cold one at my side till the wee hours of the morning, and I can't really think of anything more enjoyable.

Can anybody relate to what I'm getting at?:D :dancing

I have enough hobbies that if I had the money I would retire tomorrow and forget what I did for a living in about 3 hours.:D

I'm with you guys on this. I have enough hobbies to last me many lifetimes. I'm not going to have any difficulty adjusting to retirement!

I love my kids but it won't be a terrible thing when they're grown up and moved out of the house. Then they can participate with me in our hobbies as an equal instead of taking time away from them.

Hobbies are what I do for a living. Work pays for the supplies. Z06

I once had several hobbies that I loved, diving, rock climbing etc, but shooting I loved more. I'm in it so deep that I got a part time job at an Indoor shooting range to pay for hobby. I get everything there at cost and get to put on my timesheet what I buy or order. Do I have a problem YES. DO I NEED HELP, NO. I love being this way.

A hobby is what you call something that drives you to being broke.

I just wish I could find a cheaper hobbie. I've been thinking about jogging....well, i've thought about that long enough and I think I'll stick to the things that go BOOM
