When I talked to the ladies at Vector on the phone, they said that they will ship it to you at your house. If your billing address is your house, then one day it will show up at your doorstep.
They told me that my UZI carbine is coming on dec 19th, without barrel, barrels will be in sometime in early January!

Where are you going to order a barrel from? I might do a preemptive order as well, waiting as long as I have, only to have my rifle come in 75% complete, would drive me nuts.
I'd like to know also....two barrels are not a bad thing.

i have a quesiton .. seeing as semi barrels are SO tough to come by .. why isnt someone on this board taking SMG barrels .. chuckin em up on a lathe... turning down the high spots ... slipping a barrel extension over the front of the barrel, mig or tig it in place . .. and selling as 16 inch barrels ? .. i mean really .. people have uzis with NO barrels .. if i had only ONE uzi . and no barrel to shoot it with .. i cetainly would spend ... 50- 60- or 70 bucks on a converted smg barrel .. just to get my gun runnin ? ..
i mean .. im surprised no ones thought of this before .. hell my buddy has a real nice lincoln mig welder .. and if i had a QUICK source for smg barrels and a lathe .. i sure would be pumpin em out myself .. ????

interesting.... i ordered the mini uzi pistol and it should be here on tuesday.... the barrel thats supposed to be coming with mine is a short smg length one with the two grooves cut into it.... maybe mines a converted SMG one? They said nothing about it shipping without one! im gonna be mad if it comes without one because i got a friend coming down for thanksgiving who has never shot a gun in his entire life...

I have bought semi 16" barrels from Bushmaster before, check with them. USA made, good quality.

Forget Bushmaster unless you want to wait until next summer for your barrel. I had an order in with them, and called to check on the status--they told me that they only make them once per year, and that wouldn't be until some time late summer, 2005. Yeah right, like I'd even consider waiting that long. I found one at D&D sales, got it last week and now I have a complete Uzi carbine. He had one more available, btw.

They even take a pinned on extension if the pin is welded over. That is how Vector sells the Title 1 V-53's.
