Cookie,

We're now moving into the second week in March. Here in Fargo the temperature is still having a hard time cracking zero and when it does, we get snow. I'm sick of it and I think the snow on the Uzitalk splash page is a curse. Make that snow go away! It's time for spring!!!

Hey Dave... Thanks for them large fronts you all sent off to the east the last couple weeks......been warming up slightly here, snow is melting, but still have some nice piles yet from the original. Supposed to be near 50 tomorrow, then cold again for a while. Got 2-3 the nibht before last, drive to work was like driving on sand, nobody brought the plows, this even being on state roads. I even passed a 4WD Jeep in my Celica (I have 4 snow tire, and spent 7yr in Buffalo-NY area).

That's not saying much.... (Sorry Cookie!)

Snow? What is that? I think I saw a picture of it once. High of 75 today. I may break a sweat if I am not careful. Talked to the wife today about going to the beach this weekend. I love this time of year in Houston.

You laugh now Paul, but you know that your time is coming down in Houston. Soon you won't be able to pick up a pencil without breaking a sweat down there!

I hear it snows down south occasionally, didn't Pheonix or somewhere out that way get dumped on recently?

I sure like watching those news reels of people driving in those southern states when it snows, those are are so much fun to watch. SHHHHHHHH-crunch, everything comes to a major stand still, everybody closed.

My sister lives in the Atlanta area. She says that schools & business close if there's snow PREDICTED. It doesn't even have to actually snow!

Back in Jan 87, I rode to Daytona Speedway for the 24 hr race, we had to stop in Atlanta to pick up the 2nd GTP car we were fielding. The fella that drove the tractor-trailer down, we stayed overnight with some friends of his that used to live up here.

They (friends) said they laugh at the people that live there, don't know how to act, we (friends) just go on our way like it is everyday up north.

I think I remember it snowing here back in '87. It stayed almost the whole afternoon, all two inches of it.

Too true. That is why God made air conditioning. I do have a condo in Utah for when it gets too hot here, so there.
