Coming up time for the muffler pipe (aka DLO tube) to be worked on this winter and was thinking of getting scope studs added for putting on an Aimpoint - as getting older and the world is at times fuzzy close up ;).

Currently our scope rails are on back order, so can not just reverse engineer the stud sizes

Thus looking for accurate sizes of the scope studs (top diameter, bottom diameter, heights each section etc.), plus spacing from rear and between centers.

Does anyone have a scope rail for sale or rent and even better would be extra scope studs (or a gun to measure).

I believe they have studs and rails for sale.

Who is building your tube JT? I know Andrewski will do the studs and therefor, must have the dim’s.

Do you have any interest in mounting a Trijicon reflex?

The class II manufacture has done some very nice Sterlings and does a killer job welding ... as does a few others ;)

Just that I put a sping on the project wanting studs.

Like the Trijicon reflex, except for looking from dim to bright ... thus for the most part use Aimpoints (friends have Eothing's that are nice also ...).

Check you e-mail.

FYI Andrewski will do the studs for $250. Turnaround is 30-60 days (Yikes!). The cost for mounting the studs is $100, but he has to silver solder them on, so must refinish the gun. He batches up the refinish work once a month.

FWIW, he also indicated to me that he's going to take a much needed break in Jan/Feb from the 60 hour weeks. So you may want to take all that into account before sending in your gun.

Sterling rails come in two sizes: 12mm & 20mm.

If you get the 12mm, and want to mount a 1" dia. optic, he recommends the rings sold with the Beeman air rifle. Apparently, they fit the rail.
