I see where MCCI (no WWW.) has some VERY interesting 9MM 147 gr. advertised for as little as $110/k, delivered.

The only thing that gives me pause is the 100k minimum to get that price.

MCC has been brought time and again on the SUbguns Board of Inquiry for bad business pratices and poor customer service. Don't waste your time dealing with that also. There are plenty of quality sources for 9mm subsonic

Actually the listed minimum is 20k at $125 delivered and if they are a up-front bunch they would probably adjust for individuals. (P.93 Apr. issue SAR) However if they are not up-front as per the earlier post, then it isn't a bargain no matter. ponem.

I just thought it was interesting that any Co. would advertise such a deal. To my knowledge the only ones buying in those quantities are Government entities and they don't buy magazine ads. Oh well, like I said, v e r y interesting.:buttkick

The 2nd hand knowledge I have is if you deal direct with them, they ask for payment up front, then they'll make the ammo as they can. People complain about MAINE not answer/return phone calls or e-mails, takes forever to get the product.

Ammunition Store ( www.ammunitionstore.com ) is stocking the MAINE line, so you do not have to deal w/ MAINE direct. So you should not have the wait for the product... You decide, I load all my own sub-sonic for approx $70/1000.

www.ammunitionstore.com has it for $130 a case, still a decent price. I would still be inclined however to use Silver Bear though at $100 a case.
