Have just two blued IMI .45 mags. They had some rust spots from improper storage and general non-use. Have cleaned and polished them up and now want to refinish them. Could parkerize them, but pretty expensive to set up just to do 2 mags. Any other finishes anyone can recommend. Just re-blue or maybe Brownell's spray on tru-coat or is it tuf-coat?
(Sprayed on and then baked)
Thanks.

I've had decent success with the Brownell's "spray & bake" Gun-Kote finish on mags.
Brownells spray and bake 'em works good for me.

I used to use the Brownells stuff but have found that the Norell stuff is much more durable and less prone to chipping.
For something like a mag, I think either would be fine. The BEST thing to do would be completely sandblast the current bluing then parkerize and then moly resin or whatever coating.
Actually, I think you should just sell those mags and get the Grease Gun conversion :)
