Have you read it? If not, why not?! If so, what did you think?
I've read it twice (so far) and am considering purchasing an extra copy as a "floating UZI Talk loaner".

Now that you mention it, I just received my fourth copy yesterday from Amazon.com I have loaned or given away the other three.
Truly one of the best books I've ever read. My opinion, YMMV
Add to the must read list, "Patriots, Surviving the Coming Collapse". Read it with a highlighter in hand.
I have two copies of this on the way now. Two previous copies given to others to "give them a clue" of the possibilities in our world.
Was cursed out by a good friend for giving him the book to read...he said he was pissed (in jest) at me because he couldn't put it down once he started reading it.
I've read it twice already. Awesome book and like the others have said I couldn't put it down. I have loaned my copy out and like Jimmy Hoffa it seems to be missing.
I highly recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely MANDATORY reading for ANY gun owner. I met John Ross (twice at the old S.O.F. Conventions in LV) on several occasions and have 3 signed copies (1 is a first edition) I have lent out only one copy, and I always get it back, but the readers always went out & got their own copy. -Z06

I got in on a group purchase back around Christmas, last year. My UZI is now sitting in my class 3 dealer's safe, awaiting approval from Joann Chapman, for the transfer to me on a Form #4. I had the semi feedramp installed & the gun finished in the optional black powdercoat. While I was waiting, I acquired 22 FN 32rd magazines & 2,000rds of IMI *blue-tip* subsonic. Of course, I had to have the desert tan sling, discrete case & sight tool to accessorize. BATFE cashed my personal check within 48hrs of receipt & now the real wait begins.

Who was the dealer that did the group purchase? I bought mine from Bill Stover and he supposedly JUST got them from Vector. Now I have to wait for another form 3.

stymie, what kind of markings are on the FN mags? Anything that we don't have in the mag identification thread? If so, please send me info.

It seems that the import market has been flooded with FN 32rd UZI magazines recently. These are being touted as IMI by some of the more unscrupulous dealers & have commanded a premium. These mags are of the same gauge & similar construction as the IMI with the exception being the seam welds on the front. NO toolmarks are evident. These mags are lightly oiled & come wrapped in something akin to waxpaper. An associate of mine, Dr. Charles Tatum suggested that I try these, as his work perfectly in his full-size Vector smg. They glide into the magwell & lockup securely at the proper height to assure feeding. All dimensions, including the feedlip angle are faithfully reproduced. They are NOT junk by any means. The sterile nature... or lack of markings make me wonder when they were actually manufactured.
RoverDave... you should be receiving some comparison jpegs by e-mail that were culled from a discussion at subguns.com regarding this issue.

dustindu4.... a triple transfer? That truly sux! Fortunately, my dealer is in the same state & only 10 miles away. When I saw his ad.... I said: hell yes, I NEED one of those! In any event, now's the time to get all your spares, ammo & other essentials before the market dries up or the prices skyrocket due to demand. I'm grateful that my girlfriend has adjusted to my addiction & as it turns out... she's become quite the enthusiast herself. No prenuptials & we've been together for 28 years of unwedded bliss... lol
