I wish to express my sincere gratitude to our men and women here and overseas who will be in harm's way very shortly. I myself have a family member over there and another on the way very soon. May they all return safely and unharmed, I have the greatest faith in our military to do what they can to get everyone back home. May they be victorious in their endeavor. Mark.:angel3

Was any body watching the CNN news cast last night (Thurs. evening) when the Iraqui information secretary was giving his press release calling the US forces "gangs like Al Capone". Then all of the sudden he says "I will speak in english" ? He has this taller white haired officer wearing a beret and waving around a Silver plated AK with pretty wood furniture (fore grip and pistol grip) no stock. The rifle looked like he got it out of somebodys trophy case. Most of the time it was pointed at the ceiling but you know how those guys are...they start shooting into the air at a moments notice. Beautiful gun....Idiot holding it.

Kanewtervalve-

Beautiful sentiment, I whole heartedly agree with you and we pray for our troops every night at bedtime, it is one way our families and kids particularly can be involved in supporting our troops over seas.:angel3 :D

The swift resolution of the Iraqi conflict may send as very serious and stinging mssg to all who would consider doing harm to Americans here or abroad. However it is done, we need to cement this mssg in the minds of those terrorists.

Well roots and cookie's sentiments seem to be coming to pass. Wishing them well and hoping for a speedy return seem to be happening in a general way. I mean some of our servicemen have been out on long deployments for sure such as the USS Abraham Lincoln flat top. It is based right in my backyard of Everett, WA and they just set a new Navy record for the longest deployment of 12 months away from home. They are nearing Hawaii now and should be home 5 May 2003 unless they run into hostile natives. They will be coming home to a heros welcome no less.
