Just picked up my new Vector Tues night. The safety on it can't be set back to safe about 95% of the time after it gets set to "A" I took the lower off the receiver and kept working it back and forth for a while and it worked better. After I put it back on, it still gets stuck on "A" and takes a lot of tinkering with it to get it off. I want to shoot it for the first time Sat. so I think I will put a FN spare lower on it to try it out. Any one else have a similar problem with theirs? I haven't taken the lower apart yet to see if any thing is wrong yet.

difficult to move, but it loosened up a little after use. Look inside to see where its binding and if your not satisfied with its operation, send it back to Vector. I'm sure they'll fix it pronto.

My Vector did the same, I just put a dab of Moli-Slide on the offending part inside the grip frame. After a few trips to the range and cleanings, it works just fine.

Getting the Moli-slide down in there is a tight fit. I used a plastic tooth pic with a dab of the greese on the end of it. The safety really does feel like it is broken and locked in place intill it brakes in.

Thanks for the help. I gave it some more exercise and its working well consistently now. Had a good day shooting. Worked great in 9mm. Went through 400 rounds with no problems. I got a .22 conversion and ran about 1000 rounds through it also. Quite a few malfunctions. Lots of crunched cartridges, but it wasn't too bad for not tinkering with it any. There were lots of bulged and some ruptured .22 casings also. The cyclic rate with the .22 conversion seemed a lot faster than the rate with the 9mm.
Need lots more range time. We couldn't hit squat with it, but you couldn't have ripped the smiles off our faces. Loads of fun!
Had to take a Colt sporter along to kill the time while we let it cool off.
