I tried the 1.25 buffer in my Uzi a couple weekends ago. It really does make it a whole different gun! I am not sure what my rate of fire was, but it was a whole lot faster than 600 rpm.

Has anyone tried the 1.4 in buffer? What is the rate of fire?

A few people have claimed about 1000 RPM. Not sure how accurate that number is or if you'll notice much difference going from 1.25" to 1.4"

I've been shooting on a 1.4 for about a year now, and it's ultra fast. I don't have any way to get a technical measure of speed, but I'd say easily 1k RPM.

I get 960 rpm with winchester whitebox or UMC yellowbox and a 1.4" buffer in my full size.

I put the 1.4 inch buffer in with a 45 ACP bolt.

THAT was fast. About like my Mac 10
