I can take some measurements... How accurate are we talking??? My caliper will not extend the whole lenght for the larger measurements...

This for a Full size cut. As close as possible, but i will eyeball it if worse comes to worse.
if the top cover fits bolt slides and barrel matches up. thats is close enough.

E center of rear screw to front of frame...Not trunion... 2.400
on center of rear grip lug (C) to forward grip lug (on center...common piont D, E) 5.200
Best I can do with a broken yard stick... :D

Adding info.
On first picture - IMI welded a plate for the
grip pocket instead of the normal pressed out pocket on the full size UZI.
On second picture - the grip lug has been shortened.
On third picture - the distance I measured for "d" is about 1.4"

Brian Ski,
I'm also interested in the rear rib size. If you wouldn't mind could you also measure the distance from the end of the rib to the end of the receiver excluding backplate. Denoted by "X" on picture.
Also the length of the back ribs denoted by "Y"

I dont have an Mini but if you see the other post i made the ribs will be a bitch to match the IMI ,i & mpossible to do the single rib on the other side , becuase of the GI logo and S/N,
without restamping S/N

I'd still like to find out the measurment , because if there is a way to get the SN restamped leagally, perhaps a C2 manufacturer, then I would really like to try it. If the SN can be moved, in my opinion the actual work to do the ribs wouldn't be that diffcult.

Here a 1:1 scale mech drawing i did this afternoon. The line are sharp and clear on paper but, my scanner just isnt up to par.
I used the measurment supplied by the Library , Brian & Rob.
Some of the measurment didnt match up Exactly, but very close.
I will update as more info is obtained. I will need to obtain a few more precise measurement in some areas.
Now that i did the drawing, im pretty sure where to cut the $20 recievers.

If you email me the dims/drawing I will convert it to ACAD for you, if you would like.
ALso I will donate a shell to the cause, with the agreement that if it works, you do another (which I will also supply) for me :cool

Yea .045 is a little bit different... Couldn't get a really good measurment on center with my skills... but I don't think I was that much off. There is a lot of play in the screws and I think you could tweak the grip holes a little also...

Can anyone who has the details please email me the measurements or blueprints of the micro Uzi, I need accurate measurements because I plan on creating CAD,CAM files,Templates and Jigs. I would really appreciate if someone would spend the time to send me the info. I have a post asking for the blueprints in the forum you can post them there or email me through the forum or on cbhfirearmsblueprints@yahoo.com.
Once I have the info and I create the files I will return the favour by sendin versions to you if you want them.
I need exact measurements and drawings or blueprints would be excellent.
Thanks CH18
