Discussion relating to the UZI firearms family.
Richard from BWE has provided some tuning instructions for the .22LR conversion kits made by Group Industries, Vector and Subgun Ordnance. Check out the information here:
I'm just interested in seeing what you guys prefer. A Vector Uzi, or a converted IMI with the blocking bar removed (Everything else can be done later if it isn't already)? I prefer the IMI, but am interested in hearing other people's opinions.
What is the length of an original factory/military issue UZI sling? I just received an UZI sling from DSA, and it is very short. With only about an inch of the working ends of the sling extending past the sliders and with the sliders about only a couple of inches from the swivels, there is just...
Looking to get back into one, but not finding them on Atlantic's website anymore. Any help? Don't think Kelly Enterprises does anymore either.
Looking for ideas and cost for my full size Uzi SBR without breaking the bank. Pictures and cost will be helpful. Thanks.
To keep up with forum protocol, I'll just post this here:
It's a GI/Vector RR. Bought it last May, check was cashed 6/1/16 and the dealer called me last Friday to tell me the stamp arrived. I picked it up on Saturday and shot it the same day. Very nice shooter it is.
I have a detachable...
Anyone make one for the besides the one from practical solutions? Saw a Side folder adapter on a forum some guy did for the Mac platform using the CZ EVO side folding stock, look really nice.
I've been out of pocket for a while. I'm returning now.
What ever happened to this guy?
His alleged co defendants are all convicted as far as I remember.
Hello all, still can't find any real info on the micro specs. New question is, what feed ramp and ring works for the micro. I have a standard feedramp with restrictor ring and the micro barrel does not fit this. I know the micro has a restrictor ring, I just can't find anything labeled as a "micro...
Hi folks. I've picked up an Uzi built on a NoDak Spud receiver, a grip frame with Hebrew "Safe" and "Fire" marks, a U.S. semi-auto sear, slotted semi-auto bolt and semi-auto barrel restriction ring. When purchased, it had only the display barrel. I purchased a semi-auto barrel from RTG Parts. I...
After years and years of trying... I finally have a family!
Each member of the family has different personalities.
Gramps (the full size) is the old work horse but with sum buffers in there he gets feisty.
The mini is lots of fun and probably feels the best to shoot.
The micro is a...
I am building a semi auto UZI and have it complete except the sling swivel.
I bought the parts from http://shop-usbarrelshrouds-com.3dcartstores.com/Uzi-Sling-Swivel-New_p_83.html
But the pin does not go out the other side so I can punch and flare it....
Any thoughts? I don't have a welder...
Last year, I shot thousands of 9mm reloads out of my subguns and pistols. It was mostly Berry 124 and 147. They work great in my IMI FA Model A.
Recently, I have been shooting some 124 grain Round Nose with a Hi-Tek coating that I cast with a good friend. I am using 4.1 Grains of...
What is source and best Receiver for a 45 Uzi sbr build?
The UZI runs a little too slow and choppy for my taste, so I wanted to wanted to try various size buffers.
People have tried buffers from 1/4" thick up to 1.4". The sweet spot appears to be around 3/4" to 1" thick.
A lot of times people report no increase in ROF with the 1/4". I think...
Anyone know the price of FA mini Uzi closed bolts?
1. IMI original
2. Vector mfg a couple but I don't know if they were variations of their Semi Auto Mini or something else.
3. Welded conversion from Micro FA closed bolt
Or any other variation I'm missing
So I have this 45acp UZI ..I have 3 questions on it
1. Why it is double imported marked ?
2. Did they ever do a Hebrew and USA marked fire control selector or is the lower grip etc aftermarket ?
3. How much value should I listed it for ? Right now just the gun ,sling, fake short barrel one...
