Discussion relating to the UZI firearms family.
Richard from BWE has provided some tuning instructions for the .22LR conversion kits made by Group Industries, Vector and Subgun Ordnance. Check out the information here:
I'm looking for my first UZI and like Norinco. I'd like the original box and what not. What can I expect to pay? What is retail and what is a good deal, in case I run across one?
I understand how the trusts work but don't have one yet. I also know you can do it without a trust. I'm just debating if all this is worth it just for a barrel that is 6" shorter. You have the trust ($100), barrel ($110), tax stamp ($200), and engraving fee ($50?). Seems like a lot to go...
I just bought a new Vector Arms full size semi-auto 9mm UZI carbine and I have a question about ammunition. When I talked to Bob at Vector, he said that the only ammo that should be used in the gun is round nose, 115 gr. FMJ, no hollow points, no bullet weight other than 115 gr, and no +P...
I have an iwi .22 uzi that is one of my favorite guns ever bought. I wanted to get an Uzi pistol (semi auto) in a 9mm. The only one I can find readily available is the iwi uzi pro. Looks ok. Not a big fan of all the rails on it for I like my uzis and Macs simple looking. Just wondering if they're...
Who is the best smith around to convert a full auto smg with blocking bar already removed to smg specs?
The restrictor ring is still intact, looks like the bottom of the frame needs to be opened up to accept a full auto sear, and the trigger pack still has the large hole pin that won't allow me...
The title tells the story. How do you install a set of "B" sight into a NoDak receiver? How different is it to a set of "A"s?
This may be a dumb question...but wanted to ask anyway. I have a Israeli made full size Uzi SMG. The cycle rate on this gun seems much slower than newer models. I'm hoping this may be a weak recoil spring...but wonder if it is just a design issue.
Any assistance will be...
I have a need to have the ability to make my full-auto Vector Uzi temporarily semiauto-only, for reasons. I have a complete spare lower from an Uzi parts kit that I bought years ago. What's the easiest and/or best way to modify it it so that it's safe/semi?
Good evening gents,
I had the fullsize UZI at a shoot earlier today, and one of the shooters finished a mag and brought the gun back with the ratchet handle loose. That's happened a few times before so I was going to tighten up the screw. I took off the topcover to check the assembly, and while...
Not my listing. I'm IGC on Sturm. There's an Action Arms UZI carbine case for sale there. The listing is HERE
I've seen a few peeps here looking for one and figured I'd let you know.
Decided to clean all the storage grease off the Uzi and take it shooting for the first time last night....its my 3rd FA ive shot and its my 12 year old sons 2nd time ever shooting a FA.....very cool father/son memories..
notice in video 3 of how the last few shots are different....i loadeded...
a simple rail, fit perfect, no drilling, i took of only the original cocking ! Fire test next saturday.
anyone out there have any experience with these?
(scroll down a bit)
i called them and they say they were designed to cycle all 9mm subguns, suppressed. i have some 158 gr fiocchi and they cycle fine, but these are a bit cheaper and are claimed to be quieter
I might be selling my FA Uzi but the buyer has doubts about giving all the money up front. My gun store (class lll ) says I can leave the firearm in his safe until the new paper work comes through for a small charge. Is this legal ? Thanks
So after 2 days of looking online and being unable to find one for sale I would like to try and build one of the military Uzi mounts. If you have one I would really like a length measurement of it in whole and of the rear assmbly which will be the hardest to make.
Or if your willing sell me yours?
Better than $20 a mag.
UZI paper weight. How much are those going for?
