Discussion relating to the UZI firearms family.
Richard from BWE has provided some tuning instructions for the .22LR conversion kits made by Group Industries, Vector and Subgun Ordnance. Check out the information here:
Yes, I searched the archives. Based on who is making what *today* what are the best mount/can options for a 45ACP UZI? (vector with a GG lower to be specific)
I am presuming SBR conversion, all the right paperwork, etc...
Somewhere I saw pics of where and how to cut a full size Uzi top cover to a mini uzi top cover. Been searching and can't locate it. Anyone know where it is????
Just got a JJ Custom top cover for my Vector carbine (semi). I'm trying to get the bolt to lock open, but can't get it to stay. I can get the ratchet to work with the top cover off, just not on the rifle. Any thoughts? Is there something I'm doing wrong?
So I was planning on looking for a fake suppressor or vented shroud for my Vector Uzi and at the range saw a gent with an Uzi carbine, but he was using an AR-15 free floating vented rail tube over the barrel. Had to admit it looked pretty good ( and would be perfect to hang a light), but he split...
Got an email saying that my Uzi was approved and to come pick it up, but I'm out of town right now. 9 months from purchase to approval.
Hey guys, I'm wanting to increase the rof of my full size vector just for fun, does anyone know where I can find a closed bolt conversion?
I've read the FAQ in the library on converting a semi bolt; is this something I can weld up myself? Or does anyone offer this service?
Not a plug, but uzigunparts has new, American-made, SA 16" barrels for .45acp in stock. $107 + shipping. After a year+ wait, I jumped at it.
i know many others have been waiting too.
Listed on website (http://www.uzigunparts.com) and Gunbroker.
How can I build a legal full auto uzi using a SMG parts kit.
who sells the receivers?? who does the work? can you just buy a parts kit and have them send it to your home?
Lots of questions I know. that's why I'm here. I'd like to know the steps if possible.
I picked three UZI Barrels Today, I was told that they are Original IMI Surplus? All three have been cut for the restricting ring. One is 10 Inches, the other two are 16 inches long. They look unfired. They are so shinny that they look like they are chrome lined. They fit snug in my GI RR SMG.
I have been looking for a 45 ACP Uzi pistol bolt for a little while now and am wondering if any one here knew of a source? It will be used for in a mini Uzi eventually.
Don't know how true this story is ???? A guy on GB offering uzi receiver weld service, was raided by BATF 8 days ago, he was not arrested, but all uzi parts and computer, paper work was taken, he sent out an emails to all his customer stating this event, I've seen his adds on GB, I think it was in...
First post here. Was looking for advice on Vector Uzis. I did a forum search and it seems from old threads that Vector Arms Uzis are not very good.
Who here manufactured the latest run of titanium bolts for full-sized Uzis?
I guess I could search (a lot) of purchases to find it. Love mine...IT'S SERIAL NUMBER 0001!
Did they sell any more?
$600 wasn't cheap but I'd consider another one.
My Uzi screams with that light weight bolt...
Hey everyone, I'm looking to find people who may be interested in acquiring a set if toolings dyes fixtures and blanks that I inherited a while ago. I have no knowledge or use for them, and want to find someone who does know about these, so maybe they can be utilized. If you know of anyone or are...
I am going to shoot in my first Sub-Gun Competition at the end of the month here in PA.
My priorities are; be safe, learn the ropes and have fun.
I plan on using a GI UZI, with a AimPoint Micro T1. I never entered a...
