  5. Sticky Thread The Last Sterling Brochure

Many thanks to David Howroyd for kindly providing this keepsake. Sterling Armament Company was purchased in 1989 by British Aerospace - a fact well documented in the Guns of Dagenham. What is not so well documented, is that subsequently the remaining firearms inventory was sold to a dealer in...

  4. Pretty good video on British SMGs

This is an interesting and well done video if you are into British SMGs. I love the history. I didn't realize the Lancaster was kept in service for so long, It's is a heavy beast and that mag sticks way out. I always used STEN mags, mostly because I only had 2 Lancaster mags. Enjoy. :) ...

  5. Semi-Auto Sten MKV

I finished my Sten MKV a few weeks back. Third semi Sten I have built, and probably my favorite. Second gun ever I have parkerized. This was built from a British MKV kit from Apex Gun Parts with Indianapolis Ordinance semi auto parts. Though I originally built this as a pistol, it does much...

  6. Stens in the "current" market

Is it my observation or is it objective observation, but it seems like Stens are not coming up for sale as often as they used to. I'm happy I finally snagged a 5.5k DLO Sten last year, but have noticed them not for sale as they used to be. Any thoughts to account for their "for sale decrease?"

  9. Sterling- What you get from Sarges for a parts kit & mags

I ordered a full parts kit for a Sterling Mk4 and was pleased with the condition. There is some rust, but not much. The original barrel is very nice and the grooves look minty. The trigger group was also very nice. I was hoping the barrel shroud would not be touched, but that was probably...
