I found a few ads from 1983 that I thought you guys might enjoy. Here's the mark 6:
Many thanks to David Howroyd for kindly providing this keepsake.
Sterling Armament Company was purchased in 1989 by British Aerospace - a fact well documented in the Guns of Dagenham. What is not so well documented, is that subsequently the remaining firearms inventory was sold to a dealer in...

Why is this unit that is for sale over at sturm referred to with the "MK2" designation?
Wtb Sterling mk7 9mm barrel. After market ok. Prefer 4" but will take 6 or 8"
Is there any demand for nos sterling mk4 extractors?

I'm shipping in some more mags and can also get extractors with my next shipment
Probably more rare than the niw mags
This is an interesting and well done video if you are into British SMGs.
I love the history. I didn't realize the Lancaster was kept in service for so long, It's is a heavy beast and that mag sticks way out. I always used STEN mags, mostly because I only had 2 Lancaster mags. Enjoy. :)

got some coming in im going to be selling
just curious where the market is on these....ive been told $100
id like to buy one and there really arent any to choose from right now...i see Ruben had one that sold earlier this year, but i cant see what his price was.
what does a minty DLO tube Sterling mk4 go for?
I ordered a full parts kit for a Sterling Mk4 and was pleased with the condition. There is some rust, but not much. The original barrel is very nice and the grooves look minty. The trigger group was also very nice. I was hoping the barrel shroud would not be touched, but that was probably...
The Mk 8 Sterling is reported to have only been made in very small numbers - the exact number isnt clear to me, but I have read that it was somewhere between 70 and 84.
I have also been reading that a US company started to manufacture Mk 8 Sterling for the US market, but I dont have any...
I'm late to the Sterling build game but wondering if there was any difference in the kits between OldSarge, Apex and Numrich ?? I really want ot order a parts kit this week, I already got a tube from Sten Parts sitting on my bench egging me on.
