  5. Sticky Thread The Last Sterling Brochure

Many thanks to David Howroyd for kindly providing this keepsake. Sterling Armament Company was purchased in 1989 by British Aerospace - a fact well documented in the Guns of Dagenham. What is not so well documented, is that subsequently the remaining firearms inventory was sold to a dealer in...

What are the best books on sten and sterlings? I have the Mac Man and the Uzi examined and love reading historic info about sub guns.

  2. Sterling failure to eject

I was having big problems getting my WLA sterling to eject an empty case. They would get hung up in the receiver. Finally found the cause. I had removed the firing pin spring to eliminate the light primer strikes. When I put the spring back in the problem went away.

  3. Stenling worth these days?

What is the current going price for a Stenling these days? Built by Don Quinnel many years ago, beautiful job, 0-ZERO problems runs 100% (I don't understand why he gets bad reviews...perhaps " because I read it on the internet") Large cocking handle slot, flat black moly-resin finish, not...

  4. Sterling Pre-Purchase Questions – Making sure I have this all straight

I’ll be looking to buy a Transferrable Sterling Mk IV soon and had a few questions after reading a couple hundred posts here and a few other forums and Subguns. I want to make sure my information is as correct as it needs to be to make a well-informed purchase. 1) Of the following receiver tube...

  5. AR-7 to sterling .22 cal

AR-7 to sterling .22 cal I think this would be a cool project. An ar7 modded into a sterling. The bolt would need to be turned 90deg counter clockwise, shells would eject through the bottom, make a outer shroud and voila ... (I am sure its more difficult but do-able) sort of like...

  6. Got my Sten-Sterling conversion back

Good news. I sent my DLO Sten into Brethren Arms in West Valley City Utah to have them convert my Sten to a Sterling. This was the first one they have done. I spent some time talking with Andrewski--he's not doing the conversions. Also spoke with Don's Guns in FL and decided not to go that...
