Discussion relating to all semi-auto and full auto variants of the AK-47.
Post your toys here!
Mostly I'm interested in semis, but full auto is cool too. I don't own one, its prolly the single biggest gap in my collection. Trying to decide if I should get one. If you built one from a parts kit, tell me about that. Or if you buoght an assembled one, and upgraded it tell me about...
Are they any good? Reliable? Mike
This bumpfire stock from Fostech Outdoors LLC fits all three of the AK47, the AK74 and the Saiga shotguns. It is made from anodized aluminum and is very quality made. It just debuted today and they are taking orders. Fostech did this the right and legal way. The Akins bumpfire patent is now an...
I am just starting to look at AK's and like the Krink style... any suggestions on 7.62x39 vs 5.45x39? I like the idea of the original 7.62 but the 5.45 looks like a breeze to shoot. I am saving up and hopefully can move on a transferable one late next year. Matt
Looking for a basic AK47 with the following features: 1.5mm milled receiver, chrome-lined barrel (that isn't shot out), standard furniture. Lightly used or new. I believe that the 1.5mm milled receiver requirement means I'm looking for a Norinco, Valmet/Sako, or Zastava (Yugo) AK47, but perhaps...
Looking for information on the Norinco AKM/47S Rifle is totally blued, to include the bolt carrier. Gorgeous wood forend, wood pistol grip, underfolding stock, front site is a complete enclosed hood, not just ears, bayo lug, rifle is new in the box. I can not find any actual information on the...
I've heard all the rumors about them coming soon... Does anybody know of any for sure details about release of Franklin or fostech or anyone for that matter selling any binary type so trigers in the near future?
Does anyone make an AK74 pistol? Are there any other 5.45x39 pistols?
I do not have an AK but just posting this for those that do. The Slidefire stock for the AK, model# SSAK-47 XRS Rifle Stock $289.95 http://www.slidefiresolutions.com/ssak47xrs.php It says that it will work with converted Saiga Shotguns and Rifles Video...
I have SWD under folder in bound and I can possibly end up with it. 7.62 x 39 in the M16 is awesome but the AK might be nice. Any comments?
I have a semi-auto AK, I would like to get a full auto. There don't seem to be very many for sale out there, and the few I see are pretty high priced. With so many produced in the world, why is it so hard to find them in the U.S.? Any tips on where to look? Thanks
just took notice of this AK pistol....looks like i missed out on the $399 ones earlier....i got a deal on one for $499 and not sure if i want to spent $500 on it... anyone find a better deal lately on one? im very close to pulling the trigger on it, but would prefer the $399 old price...most...
Hi all, I want to get an AK-47 semi auto. What is the best brand to get and how much should i expect to spend? Thanks, Kevin
Who makes the best semi Aks for a long term investment. I'm new to the Ak world, and would like to add a few to my collection but don't really know which manufacturers to stick with, or what styles. My goal is to end up with some quality guns that will increase in value over the years. Any...

Greetings-- I'm in the "early phase" of considering acquiring a full-auto AK-47. Would like to learn a little about what to look for in a transferrable. To start off-- I understand that there are only a few true military AK47's in the registry (? less than 10?). So, what I'll be looking...
This is my Saiga12 BULL. I call it the bull because it snorts like a bull when I shoot it. This gun has a ported gas block that ejects powder fouling while it's being fired. I was talking to my old friend Joe of http://www.kingarmory.com/. Joe and I used to blast things in the Arizona...
OK, I'm new to this forum but I'm looking for my first AK 47. Which of the various Hungarian vs Yugoslavian vs Crapitania are the best in terms of overall quality and accuracy? Any thoughts/
only thing I can think of is lucky shot cuts the hyrdos?
The AK47s and AK74s being one of the most affordable and purchased military rifles in the US, its about time for AK owners to post their experiences, modifications, failures, and likes & dislikes of the rifle. There are goods ones, bad ones and absolute thrown together junk AKs. My rifle is a...

I can get a metal 75 round back loader for $70, or a Russian top loading snail mag for $250. I want to get at least two. I have heard from multiple people that the snail drum is better, but is is that much better? I'd like to have this tucked away before the fall, and I don't mind buy once cry...

I want a nice wood furniture AK74, but there are several models out there. I know to stay away from CAI. I'd like a Russian built gun, but the ones I've seen don't have wooden furniture. Maybe I'm missing something.
