Mk760 bolt in a S&W 76

I bought a spare bolt off gunbroker a few months ago. The bolt was listed as a 76 bolt but after doing some research and receiving new extractors from BWE I now believe it to be a mk760 bolt. It feels fine in the gun and the extractor angle appears to be the same. The weather is finally warm enough to get out and shoot. Should it work in my gun?

Richard commented on the bolts and differences in a recent thread. I don't know if he knew the answer yet or was looking for a bolt to measure I can't remember. At least I think I saw it. I'll try to find it and link it here for you.

I do want more bolts to measure and it would be nice to get a S&W 76 or two to measure a couple of things on like the trunnion.
An MK760 bolt should work with no problems in a S&W76. The more bolts and guns I can get my hands on to measure the more positive I can be. I would not hesitate to an MK760 bolt in a S&W76. There are small differences but nothing to really be worried about.

Are we talking semi or fa bolts? I have been looking all over for an mk760 fa bolt and they are impossible to find.

FA 76/760 bolts are the next part on my list to be made. I am trying to be more productive in the shop but I have a lot of work to get done. I will have bolts in the next few months I hope.
