    Israeli 9mm @ KY Imports?

    Anyone bought any of this?

They have two kinds it seems...IMI for $160 or so, I am sure that is fine.

What about the Israeli FMJ stuff for $120/1k?

Yes. I have had a case of it and liked it. I just got done shooting the last of it a week or two ago. You can only use it in open bolt guns since it has hard primers and either won't go off with closed bolt or could damage the firing pin. It comes in neat little 25 round hebrew marked boxes and runs well.

sorry, but is it bad on a semi? Have there been a lot of reported issues with it, as in breaking fp's or other issues? And there was a company selling it not too long ago. Last fall maybe?

i would suspect that any type firearm that fires from a closed bolt would have issues as it have a very hard primer and most hammers wont be strong enough.

This stuff is NOT bad on a closed bolt, 9mm AR15. I have run a case through mine with no duds.

These rounds will not fire in my Beretta 92G. I made the mistake of loading these rounds into a pistol magazine during a competition and had quite the FUBAR situation as the result. I think someone here had posted about the chance of breaking your firing pin on closed bolts using this ammo.. YMMV

This stuff works in my Closed bolt UZIs, AR15, 9mm and, FA STENS.

These do not work in a Glock or, S&W pistol.
