    MK 111 sten parts fit a MK11 ?

    just wondering do a MK111 sten's parts trigger houseing bolt ect fit a MK11 sten thanks expressdog01

    Yes.

    The only major difference is the how the barrel can be removed from the MK II. Also the magazine well can be rotated downward for storage on the MKII.
    The MK III has a permanently attached barrel and magazine well. The magazine wells on both the MKII and MK III share the same parts for retaining the magazine. From the barrel back though they are exactly the same. Triggers, springs, housing, bolt, end cap, stocks and so forth are all interchangeable.

    Different magwells too. A mkII magwell is shorter than a MkIII magwell.

    I had the good people at Landsen weld a collar around a MKIII barrel so it could be used in a MKII. They also trimmed off the thinner section and recrowned the end, making a shorter barrel. The cost was about what a new barrel would be but it's a cool use for the otherwise useless MKIII barrel to most Sten owners. Just something to think about for the barrel in a MKIII kit.
