Just my luck, SAR build

Got an ATI barreled receiver a month or so ago and finally got it all populated.


And found they didnt even manage to cut the FSB journal in the right spot let alone the gas port in the right spot.

The FSB journal is cut in the right spot for SAR blocks without the bayo lug.

A builder buddy clued me in to that last night. Gotta see if the gas port will like up if I fix the journal.

I read elsewhere it's a .410" - if I recall correctly. Do you have an AR/ARM gas block handy?

I do have an AR glad block but it needs to be pressed off the old demilled barrel.

I turned the journal another 0.400 longer. Seems to work awesome now. Just need to get it out to test fire.
