THUMP! (fell out of my chair!) nice Micro Man! Anyways back to your R4, my next project is to turn my FrankenGolaniStein into a 16" Galil ARM. I call it a Paratrooper length rifle. I wish IMI would have made a paratrooper model (Of course I have seen the SAR & Micro fill that part in various countries) something about a shorter barreled ARM looks sexy. BTW the longer SA hand guard actually makes the R4 barrel look shorter. Pretty neat effect! Congrats on you rifles Darth!

Yeah..the 16 inch ARM feels real nice and handy. Add the R4 handguard and it gives it the SAR look. I really like the R4. The South Africans did good to the Galil.

How exactly do you have all these toys living in Honolulu? Are you an FFL/SOT?
To me, it's like having an M2HB on your truck in commiefornia.

The gun laws are not anything like kalifornia. No sbr and full auto. You can get good stuff here. My micros have to have extended barrels. The only iffy thing is the hi cap magazines. When you buy a long gun at a gun shop, they tell you not to show the cops your magazine when you register, but they still sell them.

(The micro picture as my avatar is when it was still parts, it don't look that cool no more)

You could have a M2 if you wanted in Hawaii. As long as it was semi auto and had a 16 inch barrel. And I think there is an overall min. length, but its never been an issue , so I forgot the law. There is an old man with a bunch of semi auto WW2 belt feds , that sells turns on them at the range.

Damn. You got it pretty good.
I remember someone saying you couldn't have a HK91 after a certain date along with a bunch of other AW's.

My state is trying to get everyone to register their Semi-Autos and present receipts and documentation of your ownership. For magazines they initially wanted to put barcodes on all magazines (that idea went out the window I guess), but now they want declarations of ownership with sworn affidavits.
Very few are planning to register at the moment. There's still that chance all this stuff gets overturned in court in the next 6 months.

Jan, nice rifle to add to your collection! Keep up the good work.

Don't worry; you will get the (2) shit brown mags I surprised you didn't make your rifle to match them ahead of time. I still had a half of bottle of the poop sitting at Jeff's

If I could figure out how to post pics, I would do it. I am not computer literate.

    The Russian Critique

Hey Guys I would like to share this video with you that is entirely in Russian. I don't understand a word but they dedicated most of this video to the Galil. Of course they include the AK in there as a comparison, after all the Galil was copied (not based) on mother Russia's beloved Kalashnikov rifle

They also show the wire cutter feature on the ARM and of course the beer bottle opener (which is not really how it is operated). It shows some closeups of the Galil firing and even a model number on some.

    Well enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62kCogWf8BE

p.s don't forget to hit translate so you can read the comments in English

    Lou
