I have come across the following parts in my quest to build a South African R4 clone. I will post pics of the ones I have not seen posted yet (like the stock/buffer).
First up, R4 bolt. The bolt has a plastic/rubber sleeve on the tail of the firing pin to preform the same function as a spring loaded FP. Bolt lug is marked with a "P" in a circle, just like the R1 kits that came in (also had a "P" in a circle markings on bolts/barrels/bolt carriers) a while back. It has what I assume is the original rifle S/N electro-penclied on the stem.

Next is the gas piston/hand guard retainer. The gas piston has a few slight differences, note the lugs behind the piston head, slightly longer/thicker. Also, you can't see it in this pic, but there are three dots on the shaft of the piston. The handguard retainer is the same as an ARM handguard retainer, just no carry handle attachment point.

Next is an odd pair of handguards. I was/am looking for a "normal" R4 set, which are longer than standard handguards, but ended up with these. R4 rifles all have bipods, R5 rifles are like the IMI SAR and have normal AR type handguards, they are not longer like the R4 HGs. They are carry handle cut, like all South African handguards (that I have seen) and are longer than IMI. I have been unable to find a picture of them in use or any idea what exactly they are for. If anyone knows, please let me know!

That is all I have to add for now. I hope it is helpful! Oh, and if anyone has an extra set of R4 handguards or a gas tube, let me know
.
Thanks!

I think BeMa is looking for Galil magazines. BeMa use "Babelfish" to translate.

Got bored this evening and decided to put together a few handguards that I had laying around.I had 5 wood Galil AR handguards left over from parts kits that are trashed from years of abuse in Guatamala.

First thing is to grind and drill out the old rivets to get the hardware out from the handguard.
